Thailand is the ideal destination to combine your passion for golf with wellness. With its world-renowned spas, ancestral Thai massages andexceptional courses, the country offers a unique experience for yourThailand golf trip.
Why Combine Golf and Spa in Thailand?
Golf intensely works certain muscle groups: the back, shoulders, hips and forearms. After 18 holes under the tropical sun, many golfers plan a treatment into their week, the way they plan a tee time:
- A moment of rest between two rounds
- Stretching of the areas the swing uses
- A trip rhythm that is easier on the body over ten days
No treatment can guarantee a result, and Thai massage is not suitable for everyone (anticoagulants, osteoporosis, joint replacement, recent surgery): a serious venue asks before starting.
Thai Massage: The Golfer's Best Friend
Traditional Thai massage is particularly suited to golfers as it combinespassive stretchinganddeep pressurealong energy lines (Sen).
What the massage works on, area by area
| Body Area | What the massage does |
|---|---|
| Back and lower back | Pressure along the back, rotational stretches |
| Shoulders | Shoulder and upper-back stretches |
| Hips | Hip mobilisation and stretching |
| Forearms | Pressure on forearms and hands |
Our tip: Book a 90-minute Thai massage in the evening after your round. Prices range from 500 to ($14-70) depending on the establishment.
